Ted Rogers Steampunk SP7
Ted Rogers says:
"The SP7 Steampunk custom guitar took around 4 weeks (160hrs) to build.
"The body is swamp Ash - one piece then cut to my original design from template drawings. Most are made by hand and kept in a safe place.
"The cogs and gears are all brass and the enclosure is American black walnut.
"Copper pipes and various brass ornate decoration including antique control knobs from the1960's all add to the steampunk genre.
"The neck is Fender shape with 22 frets, maple fretboard and abalone fret dots.
"The scale length is 650mm.
"The nut width is 43mm.
"It has a single humbucker P90 pick-up with 1 x volume, plus 1 x tone control and a standard 1/4 inch Jack socket.
"Paintwork is a beautiful combination of antique gold and Metallic Copper on a British racing green undercoat then finished with Clear Satin top coats.
"All of my guitars are set up for smooth play and great action and the SP7 looks and feels fantastic."
