Deposits
We understand that there may be occasions when you would like to put down a deposit to secure an item, and pay the difference for collection or shipment at a later date. We do accept 10% non-refundable deposits and will remove an item from all sales channels for you upon receipt of the deposit, for an agreed amount of time.

If something you have bought from us is faulty – in other words, if it breaks the SAD FART rules – letting us know and returning it speedily to us is crucial. If it is faulty and you have ordered online and/or are unable to make the return in person, we will cover the cost of the return delivery.
Within 30 days:
If an item is faulty, we will normally provide a full refund under your “short-term right to reject”. After that time period, we will negotiate an exchange, repair or partial refund on a case-by-case basis.
After six months…
…things get trickier, and you must prove that the item/s was faulty when you purchased it from us.
IF YOU ARE BUYING FROM US ONLINE, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, in most cases you have the right to cancel your order and get a refund – even if you've just changed your mind (though we hope you won’t!).
- Goods: You have 14 calendar days from the day after you receive all items in an online order to cancel it. Once you've contacted us here to cancel your order, you then have a further 14 days to send the item/s back to us at 5 Mill Street, Oakham, Rutland LE15 6EA (you will need to arrange and pay for return delivery and will be liable for any returns that are lost or damaged). Goods must be packed carefully, in original packaging where possible, with no signs of wear or use.
- Services (e.g. repairs, customized scratchplates): Services are always ordered from us directly in person, over the phone, or via e-mail rather than through our website. We normally ask for a deposit for customization services. You have 14 days from the day after an order for services is made to cancel it. However, if you have agreed that the service will start within those 14 days, you may be able to get only a partial refund.
The “SAD FART” rules of course also apply to online sales.
You should receive any refunds from us within 14 days beginning with the day on which we’ve agreed that you are entitled to a refund.
